The Scottish harbour town of Oban is home to breeding Black Guillemots which nest inside the harbour walls. Sometimes mistaken by the general public as Penguins!

In July 2024, I booked onto an RSPB cruise from Bridlington out to the Flamborough coast to view the various sea birds from sea level - A unique view!

Whilst visiting the Isle of Mull off the west coast of Scotland, I took a little boat trip to the tiny uninhabited island of Staffa to get up close to some Puffins!

Albert, The Black Browed Albatross is a very rare vagrant bird, thousands of miles from home and its own kind, It is the only one in the northern hemisphere and probably the loneliest bird in the world.
